Where to buy 1/2" particle board

Where do you guys find/purchase your 1/2" particle board...All I can find around here is 3/4 and 5/8. I've looked everywhere and no one has 1/2. I need some to put sub rings on a few boxes. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Because the boxes are already made and the subs have been installed....but what i want to do now is take the subs out and put a 1/2 slightly enlarged diameter ring around the hole already in the box. Do you see what I'm saying? I want it to be 1/2 so the sub isn't recessed too far down. If you have any other ideas that I could try to go about doing this please let me know...I just don't want the subs to be recessed into the ring too far/deep.

check local woodworkers, carpenters they'll know. I get mine from a cabinet making shop.

homedepot sells it in 2x4 foot sheets

It's free I work there. You should be able to find it for about $20 a sheet.

I still dont understand why 5/8'' isnt acceptable... It is an 1/8 of an inch larger....

No luck with the mdf either...I didn't think it would be this hard to track down some 1/2" wood lol.

I've been everywhere...Lowes...Home Depot...84 Lumber etc etc...! No one carry's half inch around here. I'm thinkin to myself you gotta be kidding me - half inch wood...and you don't have it? It's not like I'm wanting to buy something like 63/64" c'mon...! As for able-audio.com I would really prefer to make my own just because I'm an extreme do it yourselfer...I like to learn as much as I can by making and doing my own projects. Oh well, thanks for the help guys!
