Where the heck do you buy Rainbow speakers from in the US?

Hello all,

I'm looking to get my front soundstage upgraded from crappy worthless no-name speakers to something worthwhile. Current stereo is:

Eclipse 8051 HU

Punch 60IX pushing 2 Kicker CVR10's

Eclipse 3422 4x50w (4ohm), 4x70w (2ohm), 2x140w (4ohm)

I'm adding an Audio Control DXS or 4XS crossover and some decent components to the system.

I want to bridge the eclipse amp down to 2x140w and run just a set of components up front for now. Rear fill can be added later when i can afford more speakers and another amp (preout only deck).

I'd been considering MB Quart Q-Line, and Focal Polyglass and PolyKevlar series speakers, but have since learned about Rainbow and have decided i would like to get the CS 265 KICK component set.

I have been looking all over the net for 2 or 3 hours now and have yet to discover an english-language website listing prices for Rainbow speakers that appears to be based in the US and authorized to sell the speakers. I did some searches and found a few threads talking about the brand here, so thought i would inquire within -- where does someone in the US buy these speakers? I've found the q-line mbquart's all over the place, as low as 440$, and i had no trouble finding the Focal Polykevlar or Polyglass line (polyglass as low as 250$/set?!) but can't even find anyone selling the Rainbow's. From what i understand the tweets on the rainbow's are alot nicer to the ear and i've read nothing but good things about the midbass on the 'kick' version of the set.

Any input on where to find these speakers, or directly comparable ones, would be much appreciated

Rainbow is officially not in the market in the U.S. as for as authorized dealers i think. theres an article around here somewhere stating that. the only place i know that sells rainbow speakers are speedsound.com. but prices are kind of high.

Theres no more US distribution from them anymore. Since they pulled from Alumapro they have yet to settle in with someone else.

The part of no dealers would be incorrect, as I recieve shipments from Germany regularly and cannot keep Germaniums on my shelves. In which case were never actually even in the US when distribution was here.

Those Germaniums care the shiznit!

BTW Speed n sound never had stock to begin with, I've spoken to the owner directly in the past...he would receive order/payment then order them in. So its not like they have OLD Rainbow stuff in stock, there's simply a reason their website has not been updated in years.
