Where should my Port and sub be facing in SUV?

Im in the process of building a box for One 12" sub. 2.5 cf ported tuned to 30hz. With my 3rd row seat up.

Which way should the port be facing(towards front,back hatch,left,right,up)?

and which way should the sub be facing for best sq and spl?

i would reccommend where ever you have the greatest distance between the driver and port, and the reflective surface.

was that boat ever in inverness, fl funkyab? i swear i saw it out on the lake. looked identical to yours, and i kept thinking to myself what he had tohave in in audio wise because i could still hear the highs well over a half mile away
