Where should I put crossovers?

I just got my P560C component speakers and it came with woofers, tweeters and crossovers that handle both, but I'm not sure what to do with them. I do not have an amp yet and would like to use the speakers in the meantime before I get the amp (I'm guessing the crossovers can go in the trunk with the amp later), but I don't know where to put my crossovers right now.

I might be able to hide them away inside my door panel but then I couldn't access the high pass switch.

I do not know where the wires go to get from the head unit to the speakers, or anything about wiring for that matter, so I don't know how to put them between the HU and the speakers.

Any ideas where to put them and how?

I have a 1997 Mustang.

Keep them dry, #1.

Rad the manual for how they wire. It is simple, wire from the amp/HU to the crossover inputs. Then wire from the crossover output to the tweeters with separate wires from the crossover to the woofer.

If the tweeters are in the doors, having the crossovers on the doors (pocket) makes sense so you don't run another wire.

I agree with K_H_A, I would not suggest putting them inside the door panel because most cars allow an amount of ran water to leak in. I personally used to have mine under the fron seats. I held them in place with velco, it sticks really well to the carpet in cars.
