Where should I buy a new laptop?

I have the money for a new laptop looking to spend around 800 but am willing to go higher if something really catches my eye. I'm looking for

15" screen

at least 3gb of ram(thats plenty to run most shit even advanced games right?)

I want a BA processor. I don't know much about processor speed whats a good speed to have that will run complex music programs and high graphic games??

A very nice video card(I have a nice LCD screen to hook up to it via VGA

I don't need a big hard drive 100GB will do fine I have a 500GB external drive.

Can someone point me in the right direction??

best buy has a Compaq for $399 with a free 4gb flashdrive and mouse

3GB of ram and I think a 160gb harddrive

Theres only one laptop that I know of thats a t 15.4" screen and has solid graphics card. The gateway FX series is the best bang for your buck as far as that goes - just not sure if they have a 15.4" gaming one. I'll try to find it

dell direct, hard to beat their customer service. its like no questions asked warranty.
