Where should I apply for a job????

Im looking for a job for the summer and possibly even longer. I dont necessarily want to work in a food chain or grocery store. I also dont know enough about cars to work at an autoparts store. Do most stores hire people just for stock? I need some places/types of places to apply at!

theres a wide variety of things around me. Pretty much anything, but im not 18 so sears and such are not an option. also best buy and circuit city and things u have to be 18 im pretty sure.

i would try if anything was anywhere close to entertaining. i hate dealing with people so i dont wanna do cashier and all that at a grocery. i would be willing to deal with people if i worked at an audio store or something, but people at grocery stores are shit. anyways....back to topic at hand, where do u think i could apply, name some type stores.

get used to dealing with people, even the ones you don't like, a grocery store would be good practice for you then.

I dont think you need much experience to work at an autoparts store, at least you dont around here, the people that work at our local orileys, autozone, napa, and pepboys, couldnt tell you the differnce between oil filter and an Air filter, Just go apply and tell them that you have limited experience but are willing and able to learn.

if you dont wanna deal with people you can find a chain store like target or staples or something and work overnight. no customers.

Don't be so damn picky, just get a job. I can promise you that you will have jobs you absolutely hate. That's life, deal with it. Put in applications EVERYWHERE. I don't know how things are where you live but I put in atleast 15 applications and never got a single callback.

I think it's law if your under 18 you have to be home by a certain time?
