well i got my first speeding ticket today 62 in a 45. gotta pay $170 to good ol louisiana now...anyway, how long does this stuff take to show up on insurence? im using allstate

If you pay double the fine, you can get the ticket taken off your records.

At least that is what my friend has done his last 2 tickets. I havn't gotten a ticket myself so I have no personal experience.

That certainly does not work in the state of Texas.

It will show up on your license as soon as possible, about a month or so after you pay it.

If you go to traffic school then you will not get the points.

u can get this one thing, i forgot what its called.. but they hold the ticket for a year and if u dont get anymore, they wont send it in and its off your record

im try that too, cuz in this case i forgot to turn off the cruse when the road switched from 55 to 45

In most states you can take defensive driving and it will never show on your record. You also will not have to pay the ticket. You will be on driving probation for 6 months. Which means that if you get another ticket in that time you will have to pay for both and both will go on your record.
