Ive known the guy for about 4 years and I completely agree with the whole marriage at 17 thing. Me personally I wont be married until im at LEAST 23-24 or so if not later....at least hes not having a kid that would be worse. If their is anything about mike that I know is that hes not a good saver at all. As much as he says hes "engaged" and shit...man that doesnt mean anything I dont see his *** getting married anytime soon(1. He has no money whatsoever and 2. He hasnt established himself in life and 3. I dont think hes that stupid to get married so young and unfinancially ready.) Plus hes told me that he was going to have like 5 different cars by now. and he has his dads truck.
Now going onto the audio thing. I was the biggest dumbass ever when I listed to his *** last summer and bought all my what I thought was decent/semi good audio stuff. I bought it all for about 500-600$. usually I would have researched and tried to find good deals(because im cheap) but I took mikes word for it. When I first had the crappy system(Nitros, Power acoustik, Crunch, Visonik, JVC etc) I thought it sounded 500% better than stock(which it did) being my car was a 1992 civic(with no rear speakers at all and 2 front blown). I later learned on this forum that I was a dumbass and should have saved. I didnt have anything in my old setup that I wanted to keep for my new setup. I wanted to start over and sell everything. (Oh yeah and I had a 5 farad cap which was USELESS). I sold the cap and the power acoustik amp locally(for like $185 and I paid like 220-230 for it) Pretty good comeback. Then I gave the rest of the audio stuff to mike, for very very cheap because he didnt have any money to really buy anything really really good. You need to look at the fact that yes it is crappy(Very crappy in the audio world) but its sooo much better than stock. No he doesnt have rainbows and Z6's and such, but just simply having crap brand name speakers amped makes a huuuuge difference over a 1996 stock radio. Now maybe the newer cars today like 2006-07 have like better stock radios...who knows.
On everything he bought from me he got a good price on it(eventho its cheap) I think it was like $150 or something
On everything he bought outside of me(I think MTX comps and Lanzar amp(which his dad bought for whatever stupid reason...) He overpaid for and didnt get a good deal. His dad went out and bought an amp at a shop that doesnt do returns even with recipt unopened. Oh well.
Hopefully you two can stop bit*hing all over eachother and just learn to be civil!
