A 36" Audiobahn sub would be perfect, just have it up firing and mix drinks in it with about 20 watts and 10hz. =)
Oh, and the whole Parthenon debate. IIRC it's said that in it's driver form with no suspension, 12" P2P was pretty easy. However once you attach a spider, cone, surround, basket, and all that fancy stuff home / car audio enthusiasts want you lose about 30% of it's excursion. I could only assume every speaker in existance is like that.

I guess that HUUUGE 6 foot sub.....when they tested it, he told everyone in the crowd to hold out their keys...played the test tone, and everyone within the first few rows lost their keys because of the magnetic field it created...thats F--ing insane!!

Considering it's rated at 500 RMS and uses the same coils found in the SRW-3081, I'm going to call BS on that ...
I've heard it in person and, no, it doesn't get very loud ... My local Clarion dealer actually stopped selling them for car audio use because they just don't work well (transfer function, lack of space) and started selling them for home theater use, where they actually do a pretty good job (awesome rumbles)

That is insane only 500 rms one of my L7 are more than that. I didnt even think twice considering how ghuge the speaker was so I was like okay and moved on. Even that many years ago I had some Rockford that were 250 rms. Who would have thought. Oh well it lokked cool and Im sure most people didnt think twice about it

Its efficiency isn't a surprise, nor any great technological feat. Of course its efficient, it has as much cone area as three 18" subs, or four and a half 15" subs.

It's only 500 RMS, but also remember that is has an efficiency of 97 dB (1W @ 1M) making it one of the most efficient subs ever ...
(Yes, it's a true 97 dB unlike Audiobahn/Infinity's numbers)
