Where exactly do I re-solder this RCA Wire

So it came apart, do i resolder the wire to the middle point. I suppose the outter portion is just a support post.

let me guess kun rca right. there should be a colored wire inside the warped by other wire . solder the colored wire to the middle post and the other to the out side post wrap it in electrical tape . make shure you have the screw on piece on first or you will have to un solder it and re do it

its kunconceps wiring if you happen to pull just a little to hard on the wire and not the connector it breaks at the solder point

So I will resolder it to the short stubby post and then wrap it in electrical tape?

I have a picture of the rca wire. I only see the red wire.

because the shielding is the black one:fyi:

You have to un-braid the wire sheath and twist it together for the ground wire.
