First off, you repeated what you had just said, are you trying to say it twice so that they will cancel each other out or something lol. But anyways, where did you get rice lovers from? Some people prefer japanese cars over north american cars, and some people prefer european cars, or they dont. Its all just opinion, and if you have to freak out because someone states their opinion, then sorry, your on the wrong thread.

Acura is Honda like Nissan is Infinity. It's funny whenever you see a car that says "Powered By Acura" when they are Honda engines...

I think one of the best commercials ever made were those Celica commercials with the slogan..."LOOKS FAST!"...cause thats about it, looks...and silly looks at that.

Not all people that have import cars are like that though. Mine isnt that fast but i dont put a 9345784 piece body kit on it and say its ungodly fast. My brother's civic though has about 400hp to the wheels but he still doesnt have an "aggressive" body kit on it. Just saying that not all 4 bangers are slow

Im just speaking in general terms. Most teenagers, college frat boys, or (insert stereotype here) who have those certain types of cars are like that. duh. More power to ya if you happily drive an asian import, I'm hapy for you...although I would never drive one. I agree that they are somewhat reliable cars, but any car can be when given the proper care. Ive got GM's and Fords with 250k + on them that drive perfect and have never seen anything more than an average tune-up. I could also give a shit less about speed when there are those things called speed-limits. I don't have to have a fast car to compensate for the inability and small size of my penis (not that thats the case anyways //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif)...but, some people do.

I love my Chryslers to death, but i do not shun the japanese for their build quality or performace on their cars....

although i do not like riced out cars, some guys put alot of nice work into jap cars.

another thing to mind is that many asian automakers employ american engineers to design cars americans would like, and likewise here in america (asian designers to make more reliable engines and ways to manufacture cars cheaper)

I dont really see what the big deal is with people being against having an asian car. Some of the people who are full force against ever having something that was designed by an asian designer (or even an n.a. designer employed by an asian car company) , HAVENT EVEN OWNED A ASIAN CAR!

Some people I know are always talking about domestics. They think that asian cars are way bad. My friend is getting a car soon, and she said that all asian car companys make $#!%%! cars. This other person I know says that a nissan skyline is gutless? I mean, is there some magical force that changes when you switch from an asian car, to a canadian or american car? Why cant asian cars be good, is it because they bring in the new year at a different time, their large exportation is rice when ours is wheat or something? Is it because they consider what the roads are like in japan aswell as what road conditions are like america (rather then being full-fledged american patriots)?

This I guess is expected from people: racism, patriotism, that sort of thing that can make someone mislead another person about the exports or designs made by someone from a different country or continent.

-p.s. I do believe this is racism, after all, what is a "tricked out" asian car called? rice......and what about a "tricked out" n.a. car called? domestic RICE..... so any vehicle that has a body kit on it, a wing and a couple stickers but doesnt have $3000 invested into the engine, is blamed on asia/asians!

-p.s.s. That doesnt mean I blame asia/asians (because the poll says: rice, domestic rice). I just didnt have a word for a "souped up" n.a. car. Maybe since we have large exports of wheat (atleast thats one of the largest ones I know of) then we should start calling "souped up" n.a. cars wheat, wheat rockets, "hey check out that car, its wheated untastefully."
