not to be rude, but why in the f*** are you on unemployment then?
that kinda pis**** me off b/c my grandparents who are 82 and 76 just filed for bankruptcy becuase they cant afford their medication and their bills. there are people that could really use that money. They cant even afford food, my mom has been paying for that for the last two years. I just think its bullshi* that my grandpa is a WWII veteran who flew 18 missions (IIRC) over Europe as a belly gunner, and they had one of the highest mortality rates of anyone in the war, yet the most our county can do for them is 150 bux a month. yet we have no problem giving money to a 18 y/o living at home?

Unemployment in America is funded by businesses who pay unemployment insurance, not all taxpayers.

But actually I've been hanging out at a local shop trying to get in as an installer, and it's lookin ok because the people know me by name there and I've put up some good numbers and I don't talk like an idiot. So maybe in the future I can work there.

I am an Electrical Designer/Engineer for Electrical Power Systems, Inc.

Basically we build power control and management houses for oil refineries and nuclear conversion plants.

Also a student at Oklahoma State University - Tulsa, finishing up my degree and working on a masters with a focus on Power.

i work at a small machine shop operating a haas mini mill and a lathe. i make nozzles and other small parts.

im taking a machine class this semester...does it get boring after a while?
