I'm always hearing ppl buying new stuff online, subs, amps, speakers , decks etc etc. So where are good places to get all these online deals and why are prices online so much cheaper than a dealer ?? Is there a benifit to this or what? Sorry if it's an obvious reason , but i've never bought anything online b4.. So if anyone can recommend some site s that have the cheap prices on NEW stuff ( no used or refurbs) that'd be great .//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Why are they cheaper?

Obvious reason:

1. They dont have to pay rent for a shop

2. they dont have to pay lots of employees

Less obvious reasons:

3. many of their products are actually reburbished, sometimes they wont even tell you

4. they usually will not come with a warranty

There are alot of internet sites that DO have warranties, but look out for shady ones.

Yea, thats one of the things that would push me away is getting something on a refurb.. And especially no warranty.. So ebay and the other link.. i no theres more out there , just gotta find them

Less employee's

No retail store front(Meaning no need to set up a demo area, no ppl to set that up, No random merchandise, no sales furniture ie displays/cases/shelves, no double rent on large storefront.)

No TAX

There are many reasons

Lets not forget counterfeit products, and the ones that fell off the back of a truck. In most case the upper tier products are restricted from any online sales. When in doubt always check with the manufacturer. Even if a site claims to be "legit", if the manufacturer themselves says otherwise, who would you believe?

ok for anyone like me who cant remember the names of these site's by temporary brain farts, i found a few on another thread ...

There's obviously many more amps for your purpose, but it's late so I'm going to leave it at this for now. Just search around between http://www.sonicelectronix.com, http://www.ikesound.com, http://www.woofersetc.com, and http://www.cardomain.com/shop. If there's any shops around you, I'd also recommend going there. Even though it may be a little more expensive than buying online, buying from shops is nice if warranty service is needed. With a shop, you just bring it back to them and get the new amp fairly quickly. Online, you have to pay to ship it out, and end up waiting several weeks to get it back. There's big pros and cons to buying from either place, just do your research and you should be fine.
