where do you get bits to take off seatbelts?

would auto zone or walmart have them? its a star shaped one, but its huge, i was going to try to see if i could use a flat head but the screw is in there way to tight, im going to see if anyone knew where to find the bits at

im trying to get the headliner out, but its a bastage

Its called a torx bit. You can prolly go to your locato parts store and pay to rent one. They give you the money back when you bring it back

why in the hell do you have to take your headliner out? unless you are doing something you have not posted,,, well you could also be sound deadning, nevermind. dude you need to slip brandon a 20 to get on that meter or you are not going to beat him.... I am friends with both of you but if he sees you are going to beat him he will just rebuild and not tell you what he is doing,,, he is smoove like that.....few tricks up my sleeve at the moment as well. good luck to ya, you got 6 days to get everything working, I hope scottie gets those batts to you fast..

hardware stores sell them. kinda gay to rent it. i mean it's only a few bucks, then you have it in case you wanna do it again

Dude, I am basically talking straight to Bamaboy, if he reads my post he will understand each and every word of it, We are local to each other and are competing in a local spl show that holds a show every other week, he is trying to get louder because he did not do as well as he would have liked last week.....

As everyone else stated, there called Torx bits. You can usually get a complete set for around $24 but if you buy them one at a time, they will cost you around $8. The Torx bits for seatbelts are actually called Torx Plus but a standard Torx bit will work, just be carefull not to round the edges off the bolt. It will most likely be a T-55 Torx Plus. The Torx Plus bits are just a tad bigger and have rounded edges instead of the squared off edges that a standard Torx bit has.

Yes, most any auto parts store or Sears will have the standard Torx bits. You will most likely have to find a Snap on truck to get the Torx Plus bits.
