reverse should be in the drivers kick panel harnes to the rear. it will only get 12v with the rev. lights on. VSS is a little trickier...i have no idea.

got get the factory wiring diagram book or a DMM and find it.

my DEI account doesnt have it listed. pull out the light and reference the color and look for the same color wire. use a meter and find the needle in a pile of needles...life if an installer baby...

easy answer with any vw is getting a bently service manual they can be had for $50 online and it will be the best investment for any vw owner... this is coming from a vw tech and enthusiast

reverse is black/blue in the driver kick.

VSS is white/blue in a 3 pin plug on the driver side of firewall.

be sure to verify with a dmm.
