where do i find dog breeders at?

i am wanting to get a dog. we are looking at getting a maltese or something of that size. anyone know a website or something? also, my nephew and his mom live with us, and he's 3 years old. so would the dog be fine around him?

Don't know how to go about founding breeders. I do know that a maltese will be fine around children though as I had one when I was younger. Keep in mind malteses are pure white and incredibly hard to keep clean. Personally I'd look into a Mal-shi (Maltese/Shih-tzu mix) as the size and shape are essentially identical. Yet they'll have less white on them to get filthy.

Mines a big *** baby. I have a akc 50/50 Europe/American blue dane. Beautiful dog but not a protection dog. But you don't really need to do much to be afraid of a 160lb dog when you walk in a house. My 60lb boxer does more when someone knocks. I'll be breading her late this year, early next.
