Is my linking to my For Sale thread a violation? Technically it is for monetary gain as it is linking to something I am trying to sell....

I'm pretty sure that whole idea is there to prevent guys from linking to ebay and such.

It's sort of been weeded out now though - just too many members doing it and the inability to make the change.
