Where can I get cheap, small batches of automotive carpet?

I used to have a local source for high quality carpet that came as scrap off of much larger rolls. I could buy they cheap. I just took an order for a ported enclosure for a single 12 and am not sure how I should cover it. Customer doesn't care as long as it's low cost and looks good.

We have a jo Ann fabrics around here and could get something for $3 to cover a single 12" box

I think we have that here as well. I was also thinking, mdf, carpet, and glue comes to about 50 bucks give or take. Birch and stain comes to like 60 bucks. Might go that route.
