need a line output converter to use factory stereo with aftermarket gear.

is there a big difference in quality between the audio control lc8i and audition bit 10?

audio control is more within my budget, but if the audition is that much better i could purchase it.

are there any other options in the 200.00 range?

so do you need a processor? These are doing two different things. The AC is good line out if you have a factory head unit but has no processing ability. The Bit 10 is a full blown processor that I think you still can tap into a factory head unit. Price difference is what they do and if you need that ability

I consider processing a need when snagging a factory head unit signal. You want to counteract/complement stock EQ and gain time alignment and crossover flexibility.

The DRC option on the Bit 10 adds convenience and preset selection
