Where can I find wire?

I need to buy some 8 awg, 12 awg, and 1/0 power wire. Do Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. sell good power wire (Kicker, Stinger, etc) by the foot? Or would I have to go to a car audio only store?

I know they sell kits, u can usually find wires by the foot online alot of places sell it. woofersetc.com, http://www.hifisoundconnection.com Theres alot quick search will get u lots of results
