and you are going to be hardpressed to find a kit. they are usually only for really popular ricer cars like the honda civic and ford focus.

well crutchfield had like some support shit or back up somthin...im wanting to get a golf formy next vehicle and im going ahead and looking for shit to install a aftermarket HU cuz that will be the first thing i buy for it

VW's dont really have the best choices for dash kits. they use 'keys' to remove the deck - similar to what ford has, so i would assume the dash kit you would need slips into the stock provision and hangs onto the front of the sotck dash panel. eaither that, or the cage fits into the stock provision and then you bend those tabs to fit.

i would worry about GETTING the car first, THEN find out what you need to install a cd player in that particular vehicle.

thanx ill look on those sites, tervor showed me some shit on sd.com, i was lookin at cardomain to see pix of the dash and it looks like a pocket that goes under the HU
