Rear 4x6 replacement on 90's Silverados?

Got a Silverado coming in, the 2 door with rear seat. Then the 4x6s are behind the huge rear side panel.

I looked over it and did a little investigative prying when I scheduled the install, but didn't get far and it seems theres a big secret I'm missing.

I searched all over, and didn't find much. So does anyone have a step by step for this? They're so common I'm assuming someone can help me out. I don't want to wreck the darn thing figuring it out.

Thanks

I haven't done the task you've described but I have a suggestion. Typically you may have to remove trim pieces around the panel before the panel covering the speakers will come off. Use a panel clip removal tool if you have one, otherwise carefully use a flat blade screwdriver to release the clips. Sometimes it takes more force than you expect to get them loose.
