Never once have i said that ct members will make or break this site. Still not quite sure why you are so butthurt over CT. Did someone over there hurt your feelings?

I am an 05 that got banned for nothing by req a year or so ago at which time I signed up for Crunk Times and have made many nre friends as well as met up with a few I knew from here and I have to say that I realy enjoyed this place until I started to notice all the problems with the board software itself and could see the frustration the mods were having after practically begging Goob to do something about the scammers such as installing iTrader so it is easy to see peoples past feedback, IP ban when scammers repeatedly keep coming back and ripping off users here (including myself) time after time because Goob refuses to do anything and would not ban them and just ignoring all requests to help make the board run better due to it having constant issues and not giving a shit because the $$$ from the ads on the main page and the google ads in the forum keep coming in so basically giving a shit less about the users that if they did not exist he would not make crap.

I speak to the main owner/admin of CT Glock17 once of twice a week on AIM and I can tell he wants to make the site enjoyable for everyone and while he can be a jokester and say some things that some uptight people may find offensive he gives a shit about making sure that we have a nice stop to chill and actually listens to the users input on things to make it better.

I must page texted/called/emailed Goob over a hundred times trying to get my account unbanned over the past year and kept getting told I'll look into it or I'll see what I can do only to login and still find my account banned still (for nothing mind you) which was very frustrating due to the fact I was in the middle of a transaction and mentioned this several times.

Now on CT I got locked out for using the wrong PW 5x so I booted up AIM and contacted Glock and was unlocked within minutes.

As for the 'power abusing mods' I think most of you butthurt over getting banned are forgetting to mention that you were 99% of the time dishing shit out and couldn't handle it when they dished it back.. I am willing to bet that any of you talking crap started it before you were banned and did not seem to realize that talking to a mod and telling them to **** themselves is not going to get you far.

Let me ask you this, when you guys go out to a club (Those of you not stuck at home playing FFXI or WoW) if the bouncer told you that you could not get in with sneakers would you tell him to **** himself or call him a ******? No! Why? Because most of you have the protection of your keyboard in front of you and act in ways you would never in real life.

Telling a mod off is the same thing and getting banned is the equivalent of getting tossed out on your ***.

CA is now nothing more than a database of good car audio/video information for me, I come here search for what I need (When search works) and leave. I hardly post at all and have given up on helping others (90% of my posts were outside of the dome) because I know in reality someday this place will probably crash and burn with no backups in site due to not being properly maintained.

Those of you who think that Goobs back and now everything is going to be peachy and perfect need to clean out your ears and eyes and see the big picture and those of you who think that all these upgrades were for your benefit and had nothing to do with marking out new ad space (Oh hey lookat the new ads over to the right) are sadly mistaken.

For me I'll be around but most of my time will be at CT where I know Glock won't leave us hanging and a few other local Cali racing forums I visit.
