When getting metered.....

ive never gotten a meter test, but tonight im goin to get my car metered, is there certain things that will give u more sound... like windows down, windows up, certain amp levels, different things with the subs? anything to get more sound would be good, and if this sounds stupid, correct me cuz ive never done this b4, could someone also explain what metering is?

Neways, window down or door open usually will be louder. You have to play with it a little.

depends on which rules set you are refering to, every league has their own set of funky rules.

Would be worth it to get metered in different places to see how your vehicle likes it, i.e, headrest, dash, kickpanel...play around with it.

if your regular speakers are on an amp pull the fuse, keep all electrical things other than what you need off

well... i just got back, my 1st test went for 130.5 2nd went 132.6 and last one went 135.9. i lost 1st two test and won the last, I guess its not too bad for a 1st comp, we were only allowed to use test cd's and windows rolled up, im gonna try unpluggin the 6x9s at the next comp on the 17th, thanks for "some" of your help....

I'm guessing it's DB Drag, rules are windows up, doors closed, test Hz tracks only from the comp CD, and car off.

im not sure what class, but i hit 135 so i guess somewhere around there? lol and ya it was a db drag but your car could be on.. im gonna go to one on the 17th also and see wats up i dunno what a bass race is but ill look into it lol, im pretty sure we were just "farting"

if your cars on in dbdrag, thats bassrace. windows, doors open, ect.

On the dash, using a jig, windows up and door closed.
