Man i record, that takes skills but brings in alota money, i also make beats that takes some skill too, i dj on the weekends, but if you have a couple thousand saved up, throw a concert man promote it good and get a decently priced band or artist, find a good venu, setup a date. You could make thousands really you take 3 or thousand and make 15. It takes hard work though not as simple as it sounds

But on the real I build high end model airplane engines out of chainsaw's and that usually funds my audio addiction as long as I do not get to spendy on the audio stuff. Also my dad owns a machine shop so I can use all the lathes and mills for free. It comes in handy when installing car audio stuff because I machine all my distribution blocks, 4 guage to double ot power cable adapters, etc.

They are given choices of what is available to them in covered CA, and they also have the choice of paying the small fee and get cheaper insurance monthly premiums elsewhere and make up for that madatory fee, i just lay down their choices they have and let them choose what to do, i'm forbidden to coerce anyone to do anything.

The side hustle I am trying to get going is drill bit leasing.

I work in the oil field as a heavy equipment mechanic and it blows my mind how much money changes hands in this industry so here is my idea. Drilling companies do not buy there drill bits any more they lease them so for about 5k each you can buy "surface" bits which are the drill bits that they use to drill the first 500 to 1000 ft. The bits are like 5-8 k each but if you buy 5 they will sale them for 4k each. then you lease them to a drilling company for 1000 to 1500 a day depending on what they are drilling through. worst case scenario the drill bits last for about 10 days of drilling before they have to be torn down and rebuilt. Since I have access to a machine shop and I have the skills to rebuild them all I have to pay for is the parts needed for the rebuild, which runs like 2000$ for a complete rebuild kit.

So for 4000$ investment you should get on average 10 days of use out of them at 1000$ a day conservatively (most leasing companies charge 1500$ a day) you clear 6000$ in 10 days worst case scenario. Get about 10 bits going and BAMM you got a six figure income.
