My least favorite/favorite?
That's simple, the opposite of whatever this forum says...

Favorite subs I've owned..

First gen Orion HCCA 12d (currently have 2)

Kicker competition seperates (black with Gold kicker writing)

Old school Orion XTR up to XTR 3

Fosgate - Punch - power series - early mid 90's

Least Liked from what I've owned..

Sony Xplode = got to be the crapiest I've had.. nothing else comes to mind..

Power HX2...Outside of pure SPL subs, one of the best subs ever made in my opinion, if not the best

Memphis m3 (orange cone/magnet) just based on being a lower level sub that performs very well

Treo SSx..perhaps the most beast sub ive seen

Soundstream xxx...monster

Lanzar Max series

Dual (especially in the dual lighted box)

The thing about this question, as evidenced by various responses, is that we all judge subs very differently based on our preferences...I tried to list more common subs, subs that the majority of the site are aware of and have hopefully heard. (other than the ssx and xxx) I also tried to judge based on price as well. Not everyone can afford 800$ subs

My fav is the old style xxx, any size. I absolutely love my 18. Hype-R's were good for what they were.

Dislikes are the Sony's, Audiobahns, Kenwoods, and all the other junk that I have heard that sounded horrible.

LIKE: AQ, Fi, Mach5, SoundStream and PSI (stuff I have personally used and love)

DISLIKE: Kicker, JL, Sony, Pioneer and any ebay brand junk...

I think Fi's sound pretty good ....

Least Fav:

Owned two MTX Jackhammer 12's (were complete ****)

Kenwood 12" ( I blew it up with my 2010d after an hour it was only $20)

Boston Comp 10" (For what boston stands for in SQ it wasnt that great..)

Audiobahn's ( I don't care if you can't see the flames when they are in a box i still know you have ****ing blue and chrome flames ***)

Oh, ok. So you're an spl guy. Yeah, I can see where you're coming from. The G3 has the sound quality of the G5, but less output.

Cerwin Vega V-Max 102, T3 Audio TS series, 1992 version of Punch subs, older version of Kicker Solobarics L7 (2002) and older version of Kicker CVR, TC Sounds TC1000, MTX 5500 in 300zx only

Subwoofer Dislikes

Crossfire BMF, Rockford Fosgate T1, T2 & P3 (nice SPL but no SQ), Type R, RE Audio, Kicker L7 newer version, Kicker CVX
