As far as lifestyle and crime goes? Here in Dallas, our crime rate is un-believable. Everything from robbery to murder is over 2x the nations average. One of my friends that collects rolex watches, placed an add on craigslist to sell a $8,000.00 rolex, and the guy arranged for him to meet him at a "Sports Store parking lot", well they met, and as soon as the guy went to look at the watch the guy stuck a gun in his face and asked for his keys and took his 2006 Truck and the 8,000.00 rolex which he probally pawned and got a thousand dollars for.

I feel safe in basically every area but Roxbury. I guess there's crime, but it almost never involves people who aren't trying to be hardasses or also criminals themselves.

I live in Lanham, Md. In the heart of Prince George's County. I'm about 10 mins. away from Washington, D.C. also known as the "Murder Capital". P.G. County is probably one of the roughest spots with the highest crime rate in the nation.

Pittsburgh in general is an ok place to live.

It's all I really know. Crime isn't out of hand, and for the most part theres friendly folks. It's funny how compartmentailized the town is though. People from the south don't go north, or east or west. Everything you could need is all in a general area. There's people in the city that haven't been on the other side of the river in 20+ years. That's just how people are here.

There's some rough areas, but that's like any city.

Yeah, Detroit is shitty.A few years back my class went on afield trip to the Heidelberg project and saw a shooting...it was interesting.

Flint is just as shitty as detroit

Midland is not a shitty town by any means, but less than 20min away from bad areas of Saginaw and Bay City

Small lake town.. 4500 people, right inbetween to cities w/ 50k plus populations. Umm, Neighbor has a 5,500 sq ft house... Houses in the neighborhood on the other side of town can't be had for under a million... Some are like 10+ million dollar houses. Lot's of old people.

It's a nice place to live, but not worth it... Property value is not worth it in our case, so we are moving a couple miles away.
