Whats you idea of the "Perfect" HU?

I hope that one day somebody will get it right and include:

No internal amp

Standard, 3-way, 4-way active, with ssf

Mp3, Wma, WAV

Parametric and Graphic EQ with bands from 20-20

TA

A decent USB/Ipod/Hdd interface

Good D/A converters..

Bluetooth

Thats all I can think of for now.

better cage type that would have a dampner or something so it could be shaken a little more with out skipping - does that make sense

Sounds pretty similar to a eclipse 7200mkii except no 4 way active and no graphic eq.

30 band EQ may as well........ with a flip out DVD screen that has navi, and an optional 100 gig hard drive.

I doubt a company will make a headunit that is 4-way and a large EQ. The average user does not need these features. i think it's more cost effective for a company to make a more basic headunit and sell an additional processor.
