Whats wrong????

I decided to test my Ma 802sx just to see what it does at 1 ohm. For electrical i have a 240 amp h/o alt freshly re built, big 3, 2 runs of 1/0, a yellow top under the hood, and 4 yellow tops in the trunk. So i hooked up my friends 15" RE MX at 1 ohm. I play it for about 30 seconds or so and the amp goes into protect because of low voltage i assume because when i checked my battery bank it had dropped from 14.7 to low 12s...Is my electrical still too weak? If so would a Crunch gp3000d be more efficient?

1) You're alternator might not be functioning properly, or, it isnt actually putting out 240amps.

2) check your grounds, as stated. shitty connections = resistance. Make sure all your power/ground connections throughout yer setup are clean, and solid, metal to metal, etc

I will double check all connections, although they seemed clean and solid. And I thought that about the alternator. However i hooked up my Orion 2500D at 1 and it didn't cause hardly any voltage drop.
