i was going down the street one day and my sa-12 just suddenly stopped playing. i rewired my vehicle to check what was wrong hoping it was just a loose wire but i hooked up another pair of subs to the amp and they play perfectly fine so something happened to my sub. i dont think the cone is blown because it still sounds perfectly fine when you push on it so what else could be the problem?

thanks already emailed sundown ***** coils arent covered by warranty but they do offer a discount!
SA recones arent too expensive. With a little research and patience its not hard to do it yourself either. I'd suggest you research setting your gains also, since incorrectly set gains are most likely the reason for the toasted coil!

yea i can recone it for you. i doubt you burnt a coil i bet leads burnt/ripped from over throwing it. sa coils are extreamly tough to burn up and he would have known filling the car with smoke,i hope //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
