first off chulowithakhulo , if you alternator is going getting a bigger battery will make the situation worse....if it cant charge the smaller factory battery then how ill it charge a bigger one???? what the hell kind of caps have "SENSITIVITY" knob on them....

Get your alternator rewound...rewinding isn't that expensive....get an optima red top for under the hood too, big difference....

i do totaly agree with you but here is the thing there are caps that have senitivity adjsutments to them thats why if u can adjsut your cap your alternator wont be affected as much even if you have a small or big battery. well at least that swhat i learned from my experioance. any feed back is always appreciated

not trying to be rude to the last guy but i think anyone who installs their own stuff or if they have a pro install it, then DUH they already know to do that. that is basic car audio install stuff man. also a big battery that will actually be good for someone with a lot of power like i have over 2000 watts in my car and kottonmouth having a 1500 watt amp 100 bucks won't get you a big battery. like 180 for a good one after it is put in. once again not trying to be rude, but this post was to see if audiolife had some suggestions for me to do or anyone else who knows everything about car audio.

get extra battery and run paralel, think most of the american cars can handle the feed

alternator is power now, battery is reserve power and "key off" power, caps are a high speed voltage bridge between your cars electrical system and amplifiers. that is about the sum of it.........

Dude easiest way to do it would be to buy a high -powered alternator and maybe buy an optima battery, it'll cost you a couple hundred bucks, but it's worth the aggravation.
