My bad buck if I offended you, I was not aware that this site was classified as an spl site but it does make sense to me now. I was just curious if the people who DO make crazy stereo's actually got enjoyment out of them or if they listened to them with ear protection?

No sh1t. I dont even think some of these ppl have a front stage, they probably removed it to make room for more speakers. I bet half of them dont even listen to real music, they drive around with bass tracks or test tones playing.

I guess i fit in here. Ill be relocating my rear fill, For hopfully an improved SPL, But it'll also be for "sq" in a sence, Because theres no way to make 4x10's sound good (IMO). LOL.

As for Bass track's, And test tone's.. Im guilty here as well. Always nice to show off a system with a nice sweep. Either that or the mammoths footstep's in the begining of Ice age: melt down.

However, I have a decent front stage to back it up.

4x10's [Oval's speakers stock in the rear deck of 78-87 g-body's.] Ill be using the hole's as port's from the trunk to the cabin.

Ill be glassing some 6.5's [Hopfully OEM's, If i ever get the cash back up.] into my rear sail panel's.

But then again, I got a deck with NO EQ, So i guess its official. No SQ for me.

i honeslty dont know how ppl enjoy music with how loud some ppl turn up their subs... sounds like shit to me personally.. when you cant even hear the front stage

if you cant hear the vocal's then that's pathetic or they just don't have front speakers lol......

well im all for having a loud system... i just think its kinda ridiculous how much money *some* people spend on their subs just to skimp out on their front stage.. and think its cool

i dont know i used to be like that when i first got into car audio i guess... but ever since i tuned my system more SQ oriented i cant go back...
