What's up with my amp???

ok, for starters i'm pretty sure my amp is blown...but out of all the amps i've blown they've never done this...i' was riding with the system on and i kinda started smellin somethin a little funny then my light on my amp turns red....well whenever i unplug my rca's the red light go's out...but now the blue led light on the amp , that stays on (when my key's on) is out and i get bend my rca a certain way the red light goes in and out....but i still cant even get my amp to cut on...

good its not just me.

i think you need to find out why you blow so many amps.

if you bend the rca's at the amp it turns on and off? probably burned out the wires connected to that.

this amp lasted me a lot longer than any of the others (8 months), its the power acoustik gothic series....all of my other amps are the power acoustik power series.....but the reason i'm blowin them is prolly because my amp is ran on a 1ohm load, but stable at 2...i was also thinkin i might have burnt up my rca's or somethin

well i found the problem with my amp...it was a burnt up ground wire....back to new now

this amp lasted me a lot longer than any of the others (8 months), its the power acoustik gothic series....all of my other amps are the power acoustik power series.....but the reason i'm blowin them is prolly because my amp is ran on a 1ohm load, but stable at 2...i was also thinkin i might have burnt up my rca's or somethin

if your amp is stable at 2 ohms, your damaging them by wiring the subs for a 1ohm load. dropping impendences on lower end amps is very bad IMO, they cant handle the heat.
