Whats up with all the Sundowns in the classifieds?

I hear nothing but great reviews about the SAZ 1500 so I finally have one about to be delivered and everyday there seems to be another one up for sale. I know there was a thread made and people were saying they are selling them for the 3000's, but it seems like there are a butt load up for sale.

They are still the great amp that everyone had a boner for huh? I hear the customer service is phenominal and their products are solid. I guess I will find out today or tomorrow.

Just like all the popular stuff online, a lot of people jump on the bandwagon to try out the greatest thing since sliced bread. Once they realize that they're not unique and that their amplifiers don't cure cancer, they move on to something else. The same thing can be said for Fi. That's how bandwagons work: everybody is looking to get in on that new, cool, cutting edge product ahead of someone else.

Nothing wrong with Sundown at all and Jacob is a great guy, but that's the way things go online. It's been like that for at least the last 5, maybe 6 years, although the speed at which people move on to something else seems to be getting faster.

its based on a lot of things. for instance i have 2 18's fi's for sale that ive only had 1 month...why? because i cant make them fit my truck how i want lol.

people might be selling their 3000 sundown amps because they cant power them or other issues. i REALLY doubt its a quality issue. i think its more of an impulse buy issue.

^^ Plus car audio is a definite addiction for us, so we are never satisfied with what we have, we always want something new, different or better. I know I have only had my stuff for a few months now but am already considering some changes or upgrades.

although the speed at which people move on to something else seems to be getting faster.

i have literally switched boxes with one sub 3 times then switched subs completely then went back to my old sub and now i have a type r 15 coming in the mail. this all took place in the last 2 weeks. in the last year i have had 5 different sub combos, and 4 different amps.

I was curious about all the sundowns in the classifieds as well, i was interested at first, but decided against it (got a good deal on others) but was wondering about it all, because people were all about it, and now people are moving on to new things..
