Whats the thoughts on CDT?

the power handling depends on the xover more than the woofer but however most cdt lines can take much more power than rated if they have the xover to support it
like woofersect rates the power handling of the mid but gives low qualitly xover that cant take that much power and will burn up
I have the 480 satnet xover's ,did you upgrade from the 480's the set comes with

yea i went with the 480's since the amp i have is only gonna send 175rms per side

i am planning on getting another set of thse comps in the kicks and then get custom door pods made to mount another set of these comps in the doors along with a M6 midbass driver and then put the upstage kit on the a pillar

so in the end will have upstage in the a pillars and a set of comps in the kicks, and a midbass and midrange with the tweet in each door

not sure if thats just a 3 way or wat haha

The CL-62CF set is basically the EF-61CF set. The EF line was simply absorbed into the CL line for the most part. The FG driver was discontinued in favor of the CF driver

The 60's and 61's are outdated...and most of the million different sets that woofersetc sells use lower quality crossovers and tweeters (including the ES sets which have a JUNK crossover long ago discontinued and the same tweeter that I use in sets starting around $140....hence not an ES set at all or even remotely close). We've got newer stuff now that is thoroughly improved on that stuff for around the same price. The CL-61i is the current starting point for 6.5" sets. Then it goes up with the CL-62 and 62CF set. After that you get to the HD's. Of course if you know where to look //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif you can customize the sets with any driver, tweeter, or crossover of your choosing.

I have the ES gold series I picked up from exige and they sound great! I also have the braxial upgrade. Vocal clarity and the crispness of high notes is excellent and they also get really loud! Im thouroughly impressed with mine. Thanks again exige!!!!

No problem, glad you're enjoying them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

They rock!!! i'm sending a clean 300 watt rms to each side of cl-6 woofers, tw-25 tweeters and the crossover that came with my vc-100 tweeters. They don't even complain //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

More than two month running like this and no problem
