on sunday I went and got 2 sheets and had to put them on the trailer by myself. Luckily i'm 6'5 and can handle the height, but the weight was still pretty heavy. I ended up rolling it off the cart and layed it onto the trailer. Bent the corner a bit, but hey.

It isn't that heavy, but unless you carry it on your back or have a cart handy, it's far too cumbersome to carry around. Think of having a 8 foot long 60lb dumbell that you have to carry around.

i bought a 4x8 the other day... it wasnt too hard to pick it up.

i had the home depot guys chop it up to the basic dimensions (a little large on the more important cuts). Then i assemble the box, drill pilot holes and screw it together. After that i run around the edges with a straight flute router bit with a bearing on the end to create perfectly straight cuts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Yea the first few sheets arent bad, but I have to carry that shit around all day, MDF Oak 3/4" and 5/8", Particle Board 3/4 and 5/8. Sometimes it sucks ***.
