Wouldn't any name-brand battery with substantial satisfaction do?

Im running an rd 1750 (1800 rms) and a 4-channel (444rms) AT MOST! on a stock eletrical. (130amp alt)

so would i need a kenetik 2400? or would i be fine with a 1400? or a g31 optima for a cheaper route.

Currently I run...

sd 100.4 and a sd 1500

so about 2000 watts total. And have a 160 amp alt and i have a 2400 in back, no problems...

up grading to a m3 amp tonight might need more but dunno....

I would run 1 pos and 1 neg 1/0 from front to back, and 1/0 from Alt to hood bat and 1/0 ground from car to ground of bat in the hood.

and ground the rear bat with 1/0 as well... SHORTER the wires the better =)

IMO this is best.

Kinetiks are competition batteries designed to take severe abuse in the lanes....quick total discharge, up to full and back down again. Abusive to regular batteries, it's what these are made to handle. my thoughts.

I run 1800 under the hood and 2400 in the back

I run a Deka g31 in the rear and it was less than 1/2 the price of a 2400 and works fine. I'm adding a 2nd one in a few days. Run an SVR up front as that was all I could get locally the day I needed to replace the fact batt.

Kenetiks are solid batts for sure, but several out there that will do what you need, especially for a daily driver...

So right now the price issue comes into play. i hear alot of good things about kenetiks and i hear bad things about optimas....whos agianst optimas btw?

Optima Group31 yellowtop, Powermaster g3100, Northstar g3100(nsb90), Stinger/Hawker/Odessey(sp?) 1700/2150 would be great batteries to check out also.
indeed

meh, there's nothing wrong with Optima.

it all depends on what you use it for.

if its a daily driver..find something that works. you wont need a competition battery.

im still on my stock one, 5 years old, and i was running 2200wrms for a while //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif never had a single problem

nice...yea its only for daily driver..and the price margin is playin the biggest role. i may get a g31 thanx for your guys's input...i dont like being persuaded into thinkin g31 is not a good battery...i heard "THEY ****" but idk...u guys say different
