whats the difference in 1000 watt rms amps?.. for example what is the difference in a 1000 watt rms lanzar and a 1000 watt rms memphis amp??

both put out 1000 watt rms.... but what is the difference in performance?

one puts out that much real power and the other doesn't. Like, those cheap walmart subs, says 1000watts or a hx2 is 1000 whats the difference? hx2 can handle it. Cheaper brands dont really put that power out like they say

Ehh i think your wrong there, ive heard lanzar puts out its power or close to it.. most likley the lanzar ownt be very clean and will run hotter than the other and have worser build quality etc.
