ya I have experienced badly burned CDs/DVDs cuse of write speed, so I dont bother risking it with DVD cuse whats the point of burning it fast if u just have to reburn it again later on. Just get the job done right the first time.

especially if they're for personal use and you're not trying to sell pirated stuff on the street. alot of people are trying to mass produce this stuff on their home comp. to sell. i don't think the original op is doing this, but there's really no point to be in a hurry for personal cd's and dvd's.
