whats the difference in the new/old jl audio amps?

Which ones are you talking about? The older Jl500/1, 1000/1, 300/4 are all awesome amps, they can handle 1.5 ohms all the way to 4 ohms. Very solid amps, put out very clean power. Now the new JL500/1v2 amps are even better, the v2 have are 50% at dissipating heat, are stackable, maybe a bit smaller, etc etc.

what do you mean by dissipating heat? oh so they are stackable now...oh i see..well its smaller now too? let me know for all the models. i like the 1000/1 and 500/1, but can't seem to know which is better between the v2 and the older series.

Apparently, the newer ones have had the internals tweaked slightly, and are better at heat dissipation. I don't think there's big enough of a difference to lose sleep over.
so can the amps stack up like someone here said? well are jl amps worth their money? do they over heat and blow quick or they do stand up to their price?
