ZX1000.1 doing somethin funny

i was listenin to my jams for a little while and it sounded great. L7 was hitting hard and it was all flawless until the amp shut down. it light doesnt stay red nor green. it will blink green, then hit red, then go blank, then repeat. the amp never got hot and nothing hit the amp in my trunk. i unplugged the speaker wire, and RCA cables and still nothing. fuse is fine and all. dont know what to do.

in protect, totally dis-connect, and if it keeps doing it to that sub, then try it on another speaker. if it plays fine then, you have a blown woofer.

it did it to 2 diff speakers, totally dis connected it. ill try in another vehicle tomorrow.

well we put it in a diff car and it did the same thing. we put my friends ZX1K in my car and it worked so i know its the amp. no power, just 3 green flashes followed by a red flash and then it goes blank for a sec, then repeats.

my zx400.1 is doing that now. id love to know the answer too. I may open my amp up tonight and look inside see if anything is bad...if the amp is fried im sure kicker will fix it with ease

yes im hoping so. i was told to change the IC chip by revrider (trustable source) so i will pop mine open and try to find that.

well i didnt find anything wrong with it. im at a loss lol
