Today i put in my subs and for some reason i blew my rear speakers. Any idea why that happened? So now i am looking for 2 new rear speakers and i was wondering whats the difference between Coaxial and just reagular speakers. I am buying a 2 channel amp for my rainbow soundlines (which are up front) so i want to just have my rear ran off my HU power.

What's a "regular" speaker //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

A "coaxial" is a term for any kind of speaker where the tweet/high frequency transducer is mounted in the middle of the mid...some components can be set up this way, like Boston Pro's, CDT Braxials, ID Chameleons, etc.

But generally, "coaxials" in car audio don't come with external crossovers and are less flexible to tweak in a system.
