whats the big three

even with another amp for the front speakers?
as long as its (the amp you may add) not more then 500 watts rms youll be fine with 4 gauge wire and stock alt. But youd be best to upgrade battery and do the big 3. I dont think replacing alts is really neccessary until you get into 1800-2000+ watts range...

at 800-1000 watts (with a friend measuring it closer to 800) he is going to be ok with the stock alt... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif
Well, true. Unless it's around a 40A alt in an econobeater. Primarily why I was asking... it's rare but they pop up from time to time.

okay cool, so i'll find out what the alt amp rating is and get a battery? and replace the wiring... a deep cycle battery is the way to go, i heard something about optima batteries i think. what do you guys suggest?
optimas are good but now a days people seem to be replacing those with Kinetiks.

I like the yellow top optima personaly //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Start with the big 3 (largest gauge wire you can fit/afford), then go from there. You might not even need a new battery.
