Why are those the only two options? I'd even snag a JVC KDR-330 before that sony. Not familiar with the Pioneer

ok, well they are the only two options because they are the only two i own. haha, im selling one to my friend but i dont know which one to sell him... and i just want to keep the better one. the pioneer doesnt have an ipod hookup capability except in the back theres an aux cord adapter. but the sony has one in front and is brand new. so i think im going to keep the sony

Pioneer > Sony...

Usually you have better SQ with a Pioneer...

The Pioneer has 2 sets of 2.2 outs where as the Sony only has one set so if you wanna add a second amp then the Sony wont work...
