whats the best way to face sub for spl?

hi i have 97 nissan sentra 4 door sedan and i was wondering what way would be the best to face my slot ported type x for bigger spl vibration i believe sub facing the trunk would be louder but would it be louder right infront of the the trunk lid or back of box right up against the seat? or is it more spl for sub to face seat? anyone with sedans have any experience with this?

find someone with a mic and meter both ways pic which one is louder for spl... otherwise just face them toward the rear you probly wont be able to tell the difference
