I had to pay for my norton anti-virus and every year you have to pay for the updates but it works reall good

Regedit & booting from a floppy (in order to get to stuff that windows/virii may have put a lock on) gets the job done 75% of the time....

Really? Microsoft's one is actually one of the better antispyware removers out there and its free.

Don't even mess with the registry unless you know what you are doing.

SpyBot Search and Destroy is about the best spyware remover. Norton is a resource hog, but some like it. Personally I use AGV and SpyBot with no issues.

Both are free btw
