It's a 50/50 with that amp. Personally I won't touch it.

With SQ just focus on a good amp that has more power than you need. At a point you will only be paying for looks.

Ok at best except the hifonics. The RF and JAD will work as advertised.

Both can't produce over 1200watt RMS which is not enough and can't be wired at 1 ohm as far as I know

almost the same as the ph4000, is the vfl 4480.1 hybrid. i have that amp on 2 sa 12s right now. it does pretty good if i say so myself. i havent clamped it, but the subs shake the **** outta my car!

only mentioning it as you have two amps to choose from price wise. seems like identical amps.

the amps tucked down behind the seat, you can just see the top. my box is also on the small side, at 3.8 cu ft @33hz

you're going to need a 2-3k amp to get 1500w rms after rise out of it, if you're going to wire down that might help but .5 ohm stable amps are also expensive.

you can get a hifonics brx/z2400 but dont expect more than 1500 out of it unless you wire down and id definitely not recommend wiring down without a lot of electrical

mine is wired at 1 ohm, but "guessing" amps seeing 2.5ohm after box rise. so again guessing, im gonna say 1200w rms after rise..

fk amp rating.. cant go by that. look up box rise, and how it fights amp impedance.

2k after rise would be great, but youll pay for it..

edit: mitchell0715 was correct, and i completely overlooked his post about box rise.

that said, ive read the vlf4480 is stable at .5 ohm with proper electrical.

Im guessing thats atleast 3 agm batts..
