Whats the 411 on all the newest gameing consoles?

no it's 200. no were are you going to find any HD dvd player for 100.

Microsoft is selling the HD add on for 99.99 from what most sources say. Plus this christmas all the 360's will come bundled with them for 399.99. Microsoft was planning on dropping the price 100 bux instead they are bundling the HD-DVD player with it. Not to shabby!! All around 360 has the same graphical power, both ATI and Nvidia chips in each of these boast the same power. The PS3 just has the new Cell technology which in all honestly won't be used for quite some time. The power the 360 has is plenty to run any next gen game out there. Plus the fact Microsoft has bought most of Sony's support on games, except for MGS or GT... The online gaming for microsoft is just that **** good too. I mean its only 50 a year come on people. Both systems are awesome, but the fact is Microsoft has an edge with support and being that it has the same graphical power. Processing yes can make the game run smoother and maybe give u a few extra frames. Still its not enough to go ballistic about. 360 right now is the better choice! Oh and in Feb they are adding the directv blade to the main menu for recording shows and watching tv. Cool stuff to look foward to, also march is Halo 3 people one of the biggest games for any system.

has anyone heard the rumor of the ps3 games only registering to your console. so u cant use them on ur friends system and if u wanna sell them u gotta send them to sony to be rewriten. its good thing for stealin games but kinda a pain if u wanna bring a game to play at buddies but have to bring ur whole system.

I heard a few things like that.. Also they wont be rentable cuz of the same reason, and the actual bluray cd's are so fragile if they get a scratch , your f'd.. Like i said i dont know 100% , just from what ive read on everything

i doubt theres gonna be as many problems w ps3 as there were w 360 but it all comes down to which one will be around longer...with the best licenses. No point in buyin a next gen system if theres no good game s and i mean more than just a handfull

I just meant that they are 2 different platforms in a sense and have there top games for each system, and yes like i said before the bluray disc i hear is going to be pretty schetchy on what happenes if your not carefull with em,

ya, i went ahead already and purchased a 360. i am not all about going for best graphics. i just go for what i personally have fun with the most. and with the XBox i had more fun with than the ps2 so i went ahead and got the 360 over the ps3.

yea, i kind of kicked myself for buyin a ps2 when 3 was only about a month away from realese, but the ps2 has some great games out and are coming out still, that are fun as hell to play, but me on the other hand not only buy something cuz its fun to play but especially with a 500 dollar next gen system it better make me oooo and ahhh at at least some of the games

both are fun dont get me wrong but i enjoyed xbox more. i dont play a lot of games and most of the genres i play are better on the xbox version (to me) than on the PS2

yea, i think im gonna save up a lil bit wait til xmas time and get it whenit comes bundled with the hd dvd for 400 ( premium ) get another controller few good games etc.. Then ill have to splurge for a new tv.. which is gonna bring up a new thread here pretty quick

how can anyone say that both consoles will have the same graphics, on paper the ps3 has about 3x the processing power than the 360 and has anyone actually played one in real life yet? ive also talked to some friends that have the 360 and they say that everything is shiny, really shiny, things that shouldnt shine are shiny, and it just annoys the hell out of all of em.

ps im hoping they drop the price of the 360 a tone right around christmas so i can afford one, or at least the wii.

read reviews on the proccessors memory etc 360 is actually at the point of having more potential than a ps3
