Whats the 411 on all the newest gameing consoles?

Since around 95-96 i havent gotten any new gameing console becuase i thought it was pointless with how fast they were comming out with newer shit and you had to have it to play newer better games, so i said f it for the past 10 years and played my sega saturn for that time.. well its starting to get old and im pretty impressed with the echnoligy comming out now today and im ready to get something new.

I want the newest, something comming out so i dont have to worry about upgradeing yet again in another year, i dont know much info on things comming out, i just know about x box and the upcomming ps3, right now im leaning towards ps3 after awile when it comes out becuase its to **** expensive right now (going for 1,500 on ebay and what not)

Is there any other upcomming console thats comming out, or is ps3 just going to domonate the market or what.. hook me up with some info all you video game people. Thanks

go with the 360.....

the hd-dvd add on just came out and it's sweet

the ps3 is going to be wicked expensive right off the bat....although it does support blu-ray right out of the box......

the wii (from nintendo) looks like it might be geared more toward younger gamers....it might not be, but it looks kinda "younger generation" gamer to me

the 360 seems to be the all around best choice.......decent price.....next gen graphics....and all

I agree with Lowjacker. The Xbox 360 is the best choice, however I still am very fond of my PS2.

my question is, will the 360 still be a great system in years to come, i dont want to buy it and then have to upgrade again very shortly thats why i stopped with consoles in the first place, i was thinking if i got the ps3 shortly after it was out and all the hype went down id be set for awile

nintendo's way too picky about what games it allows to be published for their systems.

but on the flip, you could say playstation 2 has a lot of crap games that should have never been released.

i'm gonna wait until everything's released to buy one

dont really see the ps3 being worth all the hype since the 360 currently (with all the options you can add to it) is just as good and cheaper but im a bit biased, never liked the ps2 vs xbox,

umm, you said with all the option you can add, which means it will cost you more money. PS3 comes with everything you need out of the box, plus you don't have to pay for online gaming with PS3 like you have to with 360.

I'm getting my pre-order for PS3.

Most of the time only reason people diss it is because the price. But loko at blu-ray drives for a comp, its usually more thean the PS3 console itself.
