Whats point of having good hu?

The most important reason to buy a good HU is for a better preamp to drive your amps with less noise.
Exactly. There is much more to a deck than processing. Build quality will determine how long it will last. Reliability will determine how well it will perform. As noted by Rich B, the quality of the preamp signal sent out to you ZAPCO processing is only going to be as good as the signal sent from your head unit. Why would you choose a sub par head unit that sends out a clipped and/or shitty signal to HIGH PRICED gear?? Makes NO sense. That would be like buying a $40 Goldstar DVD/CD player for your house and feeding that signal to a McInstosh preamp and amp. Get what we're saying.?

The SOURCE unit is the MOST important part of a system. Because if the signal is bad to begin with then it doesn't matter how GREAT the rest of your system is.

whats the point of having a good hu if i am going to use external sound processing eq time correction dsp ect. why would i need s good hu then if i am buying all zapco processing? i mean wouldnt a hu like jensen or dual be just as good since most ppl say when using external sound processing leave your eq settings at flat and tune from the processor do i make a good point or am i just not seeing somthing? i mean whats the point of having jensen vs eclipse if i am using external sound proccessing?
A system is only as good as it's source. PERIOD! It doesn't have to have processing on it(ie Macintosh, Nak, denonford, etc) But it needs to produce a good clean signal and have a good transport. So ya, go for the Jensen or Dual.

Why would you sink all that money into high end gear yet fail to execute on something as important as a head unit is beyond my comprehension.

GIGO. Garbage In, Garbage Out. If you feed your external processing a crappy signal, all you're doing is wasting resources covering it up. It's not going to fix it, it's just going to help cover it up.
Now, feed that same processing rig a clean signal, and you can devote more of your resources to getting a flatter curve, running a higher output voltage, etc...

Anyone who runs all Zapco processing does not get to use the phrase "hu are expensive".//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif
bingo!!!!!!....it's bad enough that you use processing to correct, acoustics, seating position etc...now you are wanting to add in another variable....

Well i said this post cause i ran out of money.and i am trying to get a root canal now which is 2k my teeth hurt and it needs more attention right now.
Jesus, get some insurance before you spend your money on high end car audio equipment.

You need to get your priorities straight, and apparently not just with regard to car audio.

Here is a brief list to help you get started:

1. Health

2. Housing

3. Career

4. Financial security

and somewhere down the list are things like car audio.

It sounds like right now you have a nice system without a decent source, and also a lot of money invested in car audio but you have ****ed up teeth you can barely afford to fix.
